2012: What’s planned?

Well…working in the studio!

With no definite teaching set for the year, I’ve set myself a few goals for mid and late year exhibitions, one being the ATASDA Queensland Branch exhibition, celebrating 5 years in Queensland, to be held in October at the Robin Bauer Gallery in Paddington. The title ‘Beyond the Surface‘ will be an easy one to work with, not a ‘title’ as such, more a guideline and I am looking forward to creating…something!!

Finalist entries in the BERNINA Art U Wear competition will this year be displayed at the Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair (and others) as sadly the Textile Art Festival (in Brisbane) will not be held. It was a great Festival for Brisbane Textile enthusiasts and one I shall personally miss. The Art U Wear competition is again challenging Wearable Artists…with the title ‘The Fairest of Them All‘ ….. my thinking cap is on and I’m trawling the Nursery Rhymes for inspiration.
